Fountain Hills is built into a hillside and that is not a small detail. Firerock, Sunridge Canyon, Adero Canyon and much of Crestview have driveways that climb, turn and narrow, occasionally all three at once. A 26 foot truck that parks anywhere in the flat parts of the Valley simply cannot get onto some of these properties. We check the approach before quoting and bring the vehicle that fits rather than sending one that does not and improvising.
The gated communities add process on top of that. Firerock and Eagle Mountain run guard entry from a list, and several communities have approved move hours plus expectations about noise and how long a vehicle can occupy a shared lane. All of it is arranged in advance, because a guard is not going to wave through a truck that is not on the sheet, and nor should they.
The last thing worth knowing is the light. Fountain Hills is a dark sky community with deliberately limited street lighting after sunset. Finishing a move in the dark on an unfamiliar hillside road is a genuinely bad idea, so we schedule to be loaded and unloaded in daylight rather than working into the evening and hoping.

We prefer not to here. With very little street lighting, working a hillside property after dark is unsafe for the crew and risky for your belongings. We schedule earlier so the job closes out in daylight.
